Air Museum

Shout-out to Dad!

So, it was my fault. I asked Noah, "if he could do anything tomorrow what would it be?" He told me he wanted to visit the Pima Air Museum and then go to Wild Adventures to ride the roller coasters. SO, since Wild Adventures is still in Georgia we went to the Air Museum (for the second time). He loved it and we were able to bring a picnic. We searched for Papa's airplanes, which happens to be a lot. We found most. Our second search was for "the airplane that Chuck Yeager jumps out of with a parachute" which most closely resembles the F-104...we were successful but disappointed that it was not silver. We visited the huge space building and watched a movie about mars, saw a model of the bell x-1 and several space shuttles. We saw a F-14 Tomcat ("the one that maverick flies") which, by the way he has seen TOP GUN and he will NOT be allowed to see it until he is about 12, maybe older, thankfully he is too young for most of it.

Slow Bloggin'

Our Little Family One Year Ago
Noah as Nemo Last Year
Noah as an Astronaut This Year (trying on the costume)
Zane and Nana Enjoying (Ba) Nannas
Me in cali

Sorry Family and Friends. I know it has been slow. I have been slow to take pictures and hop on these days. The family is doing great. We are having fun watchin' Zane tare it up. He is a walking maniac. Noah is doing great and is way into space...which brings me to my next topic. Halloween!!!! We watched "The Right Stuff" a few weeks ago...he lasted longer than both me and Sean but it did take two nights. He LOVED IT! His overall synopsis is that it is a movie with "astronauts but no space shuttle launch." We even had to watch the credits to make sure they didnt sneak in an extra space shuttle launch. SO....Noah is going to be Alan Shepherd (the first free man in space), I am going to be Freedom 7 (the Mercury Space Capsule) and Zane is going to be Ham (the first free chimp in space....so a really a chimp). I am working on the costumes and the projects are going well.

Sean also took Noah to the Pima Air Museum...with our old, SUPER old camera and I will be up loading pictures from the vantage point of a three year old. Super funny to me at least. But since it is a super old camera finding the appropriate cord is hard.

We are enjoying a visit from Sean's mother Mary. She is here for a few weeks until Henry gets home from his mission to France. All is well and we are loving all the story time!

Tucson is HOT

My Silly Noah
A walker!!!
Noah and his little friend playing in the back of the truck...camping
Morning meal!
Daddy really needs to work on the child safety for the kitchen!!!! it is time!!!

sorry it has been so quiet lately. It has been hot and busy. Noah is loving his two day a week school and seems to be learning a lot....some of it we would rather he had not learned but oh well. I am sure some of the other parents are saying the same thing about stuff Noah has taught their little one. Sean has been flying a ton and super excited about that. Zane just takes off and walks almost 90% of the time now. He still enjoys eating second dinner off the floor so it is always a race. I am doing good...just trying to figure out things for me and my boys to do in AZ.

We did get a chance to go camping this last weekend. We left the house at 102 degrees and drove up Mt Lemon-soon enough we were wearing fleece and hats. I was actually worried about Zane being warm enough at night, this was an awesome feeling...but it was hot hot hot the next day.

We had a great visit with Uncle Jon and Aunt Julia this weekend. We went to the farmers market, a camp fire on top mount lemmon, some good home cooking, a little mountain biking, a little golf for the big boys...and just running around crazy! We had a blast but unfortunately no pictures...yeah we suck. But thanks to Uncle Jon and Aunt Julia for coming to see us...sorry for the long drive but it is closer than all the other places we have lived.

Next up...Check out Marks Daily Apple...http://www.marksdailyapple.com/
Good posts on no-grain foods and good healthy encouragement. Recommit your life to a healthy lifestyle. I know I am and I could always use some help. Right now I am trying a recipe for banana bread via almond flour. YUM YUM.

Zane is 10 months old

First ear infection
Loves RIBS
Smiles are his favorite

So this one is all about Ziggy!!!
He just turned 10 months.
He got his first ear infection last week and wow...it was not so much fun. Poor little guy. His body has been running perfectly up until now. What a blow. He was a trooper and only a few minor problems with taking medicine. It was pretty gross so we did let him lick a lolly pop right after to stop the gag reflex.
He loves Noah
He loves ribs
He loves eating off your plate
He loves chasing toys
He loves the bath (only when noah is there)
He loves going on bike rides and playing at the park
He just started taking steps...he is up to about 4
He Hates green beans
He hates the hot car
He hates it when doors are shut, any door, refrigerator, laundry room, closet, ANY DOOR.

So he is a pretty simple little dude, easy going and fun to be around.

Happy 10 mo Zane!

Welcome to the (da) Hall Family Blog
First, welcome! I can hardly believe I am starting a bog but hey there are people out there that are fans of my kids. Sure, mostly family and a few close friends but I always enjoy looking at posts from others so here goes.
Here are a few pictures from our Alaska Vacation twenty ten. We had a great time! First, we left Georgia the afternoon of 30 June....made to to see some friends in Texas for a very fun weekend on the lake....then high tailed it to AZ. We rested for about two days and then off to Alaska. Flew into Anchorage and wasted no time getting to Fairbanks. Sean was a tired driver but we made it. Thanks to our good friends Noah had tons of toys to play with while Sean and Zane had a comfy place to sleep. We stayed in Fairbanks for a while then off to Chitina for the fishing adventure. Sean was able to bring in 22 copper river red salmon in one day-one LONG day. I even put a net in for a quick (and debatable) catch and release. We split from our friends and then it was off to Valdez to catch the ferry to Whittier, then to Seward.

A New Bog

Ha
Never thought I would do this but I do love to look at other people's blogs!!!!!!!!!!!
